Snowfall warning in effect for:

Snow at times heavy today and tonight.

An area of lake effect snow has already begun to affect areas between Hamilton and Mississauga. These areas could see local snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm this morning or early this afternoon.

Snow associated with an Alberta Clipper will affect these areas later today and tonight. Total snowfall amounts in the range of 15 to 20 cm are likely.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
