Safety Comes First
Do not attempt a tire change beside fast-moving traffic or on unstable ground. Use hazard lights and follow emergency instructions when the vehicle is in a dangerous position.
Spare Tire and Wheel Condition
Tell dispatch whether the vehicle has an inflated spare, wheel-lock key and accessible tools. Damaged wheels, multiple flats or missing spares may require towing.
Roadside or Towing Support
Depending on the situation, the vehicle may be assisted at the location or transported to a tire shop or repair facility.
